Big Gun Escape

Big Gun Exhaust is located in Corona CA and is legendary for its high quality, affordable exhaust systems for street and dirt bikes, ATVs and UTVs. They offer EVO and ECO series exhaust systems for more major UTVs than any other exhaust manufacturer. Most major exhaust manufacturers build systems for the RZR, Commander, and Rhino, but if you are the proud owner of a darker UTV like a Gator or Redline, it can be a bit tricky to find a suitable system.

Big Gun manufactures full, slip-on exhaust systems and is one of the few manufacturers to offer restoration services. For $ 60-100, you can buff your old system and replace minor parts for a truly “like new” look. Most companies like to sell you another product once the original wears out or completely fails. Big Gun believes their systems should last as long as your vehicle.

Big Gun also makes a proprietary “Rev Box” for the Arctic Cat, Polaris and Kawasaki UTV models. These convenient, easy-to-install housings increase the rev limit by approximately 1000 RPM, depending on your machine model. The vehicle’s timing curve is reprogrammed to increase power and torque with a simple plug-in installation.

The TFI Box is the second electronic product for most of the major UTVs offered by Big Gun. Basically it acts like a carburetor despite the use of fuel injection by your vehicle’s engine. Basically, it uses load-based technology to monitor the demand on your engine and provide a fuel solution to achieve optimal performance. It connects to the factory wiring harness, so there is no need to rewire or make additional modifications.

Big Gun also offers a full line of Sparkys, Cores, Gaskets, Inserts, End Caps, and Springs to help customize the look and tone of your exhaust systems. The short insert, nicknamed the “Vortex” is a 2 “spark arrester that will reduce the noise level of your Big Gun exhaust by 4-5 decibels. The Vortex 2 has a 5” overall length that will reduce your exhaust pitch to 96 – 98 decibels. It is the quietest insert available, but it is not recommended for Teryx 750, Rhino 660 or other high compression engines.

Packaging is another way to reduce sound levels without significantly hampering performance. The repackaging kit is available in 15 “and 17” loose fill material, high temperature type. If you want to pack it up and forget about it, consider the Dura-pack packaging kit. It’s guaranteed to last you 50 hours and while it cuts down on heat, it still allows for a full, throaty exhaust tone.
