Placing free classifieds is a very easy way to promote your products and services online – best of all, it’s free! Most of these free classified ad sites give you the power to smooth your ad placement progress with the classified ad submitter form. Placing your ads this way is a quick way to make your website stand out online at no additional charge.

You can search for these sites simply by searching online for terms like “free classifieds, free ads, free ads, etc.” Many of the best ad placement sites require no registration and only require you to verify your ad placement via email. My advice is to find 3 or more websites that you are comfortable with and place an ad for each of your websites 4 or 5 days apart or once a week on each site.

Use your site’s keywords in your ad title. Many of the sites have a high page rank on Google, which will help more people to notice your ad. This is because the ad may end up on the first pages of search results due to your keywords being in the ad title. At Google, we all know is the “Big Dog”; High-quality top sites receive a higher pagerank on a scale of 1 to 10. The more unique your niche and keywords are, the better your search engine results will be. Three of my favorite sites for posting are craigslist.org, backpage.com, and postaroo.com. All three require no registration to run your ads and collectively get a lot of traffic. As I mentioned earlier in the previous paragraph, websites with a high page rank will help make your ads more visible. Just so you know, craigslist has a pagerank of 8, backpage has a pagerank of 7, and postaroo has a pagerank of 5. The key to generating traffic with these sites is to run your ads every week, week after week. Your consistency will pay off. Don’t run an ad a week and expect to get 1000 visits to your site. But running your ads weekly or every 4-5 days will definitely help you. It only takes a few minutes off your schedule and it will be worth the effort.

These seemingly insignificant little weekly disciplines can get you huge traffic over time. And hey, it costs you a few minutes a week and nothing more!
