Justin Timberlake – Renaissance Man

Whenever someone mentions Justin Timberlake one has to wonder if they are referring to Justin, the singer, the actor, the clothing designer, the producer, the writer, the golfer or perhaps they are referring to Justin the philanthropist. Justin wears a lot of hats and as we all know, he wears them very well.

So what has this multifaceted young man been up to lately? Let’s go to the Oscar rumor first. Oscar you say? Yes, Justin’s name is being joked as a supporting actor nominee nominated for his role as Napster co-founder Sean Parker. Justin has cut his acting skills on several forgettable movies, but “The Social Network” looks like it could be Timberlake’s introduction to bigger and better roles. Watch for JT to become one of the best actors of his generation.

When he’s not acting, Justin Timberlake has been working with his old friend, Trace Ayala, on his clothing line. The trendy urban line of clothing and accessories will hit Target stores this December. JT’s label, Wiliam Rast, has sold very well elsewhere like Neiman’s and Bergdorf’s. Not bad for a former Mouseketeer.

So what does Justin do in his spare time? She usually raises money for some of her favorite charities, especially Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals. In fact, it will be hosting an upcoming golf tournament to generate funds for this wonderful organization. In the past, JT has been one of her biggest contributors and continues to help whenever her busy schedule allows.

Unlike many artists, Justin thrives just as gloriously behind the stage as he does behind the mic. He has co-written songs with many of his peers and has produced some of the best pop songs in recent years.

In case you haven’t noticed, Timberlake is the real deal. He is not a “flash in the pan”, not a “one hit wonder”. Continue to lay the foundation for a career that will span decades. If you don’t care about their music, watch their movies, you don’t like movies, support their charities. I can tell you this, whatever you do, you can count on hearing his name for a long, long time.
