Nadi astrology

A long time ago, one of my friends, who was a Pilot Instructor for a flying club, asked me for help in consulting an astrologer, who was proficient in Nadi Astrology.

Nadi astrology, to put it in a nutshell, is the history / predictions of any individual, written on palm leaves, by a seer, which is supposed to be many centuries ago. In those days, records were kept by writing documents on green palm leaves, cut to the same size, using a metal ballpoint pen (similar to a stencil pencil or metal-tipped ballpoint pen). Documents can be kept for several years. Even now, there are documents available on palm leaf, which are of archaeological interest. The history / predictions are available, for the current birth, the previous birth and the next birth too! There are payment options for the records the customer is interested in. The identity of the person searching the records is taken by recording the thumbprint of his right hand and based on that, the records were located.

My friend and I came to the small town, near the city of Tiruchirappalli, in southern India, where he lived. I worked in the Department of Civil Aviation as an air traffic controller. There were no advertisements or signs to guide us to his house, although we located his house without much difficulty. There was a name sign outside his house.

The astrologer was a middle-aged gentleman and he guided us to the first floor of his house, where there was a visiting room. We waited there, maybe two hours, while he was busy with his other customers. Came to us later. It took the impression of my friend’s thumb. In order not to be left behind, I also gave the thumb impression, being very curious about all these supernatural events. The astrologer advised us to go the next day, at the appointed time, after charging a small fee as a token payment.

We return to our house. I spent a night without sleep; How on earth could it be possible to record the details of any individual, a thousand years or more before, by a seer, awaiting my visit to this astrologer? It should be just a fraud, and I came to the conclusion that it will be a disappointment for my friend and me, waiting for us the next day.

With mixed feelings of curiosity and disbelief, I went with my friend to the astrologer’s house the next day. The astrologer welcomed us and asked us to sit in his consulting room. Then he brought a bunch of palm fronds for our consultation. I read each sheet, and the person’s name and the names of their parents and close relatives (brothers and sisters) were recorded at the beginning. If the names were wrong, I would select another. It started with me first. Some of the sheets he read to me were not correct. At last, behold! He chose my album and I was stunned to hear my name, the names of my parents, my brothers and sisters. They were all correct! I couldn’t believe this. He continued reading, after my confirmation about the accuracy of this sheet, about the other events in my previous story, since my birth, giving the details of the position of the stars under which I was born, (details of the zodiac) and produced my horoscope . All the recordings were in verse form and he had to explain it to me. The records also indicated the age at which I was supposed to visit this astrologer and the current details of my family, my marital status and my profession. I was quite surprised when the records stated that my profession was linked to ‘pushpaka vimanas in the air’! Even in Hindu epics, dating back a few thousand years ago, statements were recorded about the mode of air transportation which was known as ‘Pushpaka Vimana’. I couldn’t believe this at all! He recorded all the history and future predictions in a notebook and gave it to me. After this he also read the logs for my friend. My friend was totally satisfied, while I was very skeptical about the mode of this strange astrology, written by this seer. What was your life purpose? Was it to write astrology records for dozens of people who would visit this astrologer a thousand years later? Could this be a fraud? I couldn’t find any logical answer. In fact, to date, I don’t know. It may not be possible for him to ‘read minds’ and give these details, as I was unaware of the details of my horoscope, although there were records available at my home. He couldn’t have hired any private detective to find the details and it seemed very silly that for the misery of the amount I paid as fees, it was not profitable for him to do that, nor was it possible in the short period of time. But the truth is, I had to admit that the details given on the palm fronds were 100% accurate! I had even checked the accuracy of the horoscope with my records at home and they matched perfectly!

Now, after a period of more than 15 years, I remember all these details and still cannot find any answer to this mysterious astrology! However, I must admit that the future predictions that were recorded did not match the actual ones. I have to reconcile myself with regret that God does not want us to know about our future, with exact details, which will not be of interest to us. But, how the history of my events was perfectly recorded, prior to my visit, is an unknown mystery. I had similar encounters with these kinds of mystical personalities in later times, for different reasons, and I will share my experiences and findings in my next session, which may even be tomorrow.
