Naples and Marco Island Beaches

The calm waters and powdery white sand beaches of Naples stretch for about 10 miles. You will enjoy wonderful baths, fun experiences on the beach and the most incredible sunsets. Some of the best beaches are listed below.

Barefoot Beach County Park is made up of 342 acres on a barrier island. It was named one of the top ten beaches in America by Dr. Beach. There are toilets and showers in the park. A concession offers food, drinks and limited beach equipment. There are 256 parking spaces as well as a wheelchair accessible beach available at this site. Numerous animal species reside in this natural environment and visitors enjoy the pristine environment of the park. The park includes a beautiful natural beach, as well as nature trails and canoe tours.

You’ll find a smaller version of Barefoot Beach County Park 20 feet up Bonita Beach Road on Lely Barefoot Blvd. A 350-car parking lot provides access to this beach park. Picnic shelters are located on the beach and there are restrooms, showers, and a beach concession nearby.

Clam Pass County Park consists of 35 acres of mangrove forest, coastal dunes and 3200 ft. beach on the Gulf of Mexico. There are 182 parking spaces and a beach wheelchair for the disabled is available. Mini-trams transport visitors from the parking area to a white-sand beach. There are toilets on the beach. The concessions sell food and drinks and rent chairs, cabanas, canoes, kayaks and other water sports equipment where you can enjoy fishing or paddle boarding in the calm waters of Clam Pass.

Conner Park spans two strips of land on either side of 111th Ave. There are 80 parking spaces on this North Naples beach, just a short walk away. Conner Park’s 5 acres offer an open playground, walking trails, a three-quarter mile walking trail, and fishing in the Turkey Bay canal.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a narrow 166-acre barrier island off the southwest coast of Florida, separated from the mainland by mangrove swamps and tidal creeks, which are an outlet for the Cocohatchee River. There’s over a mile of pristine beach, and the park is a good place to fish, sunbathe, shell, and swim, plus there’s plenty of shade for picnicking, bird-watching, and relaxing.

Lowdermilk Park in Naples Beach offers picnic tables, concessions, beach volleyball courts, restrooms, and outdoor showers. Sand chairs available for beach goers who require a wheelchair. Lowdermilk Park has a pavilion and picnic tables with concessions and a playground. The park has metered parking.

Visitors to Vanderbilt Beach County Park enjoy bird watching and shelling on this white-sand beach. There are 152 parking spaces with easy access for the disabled to the beach, toilets and showers. Bicycle parking spaces are located near the beach. There is also a 340-space public parking garage located just west of the Ritz Hotel entrance.

Marco Island Beaches
Tigertail Beach County Park has five boardwalks that run from the mangrove-fringed 190-car parking area to the white-sand beach. There is a bathhouse and toilets on the beach. A handicap-friendly beach wheelchair is available at this site, and a concession offers beach equipment rentals, food, and drinks. Live shell collecting is not permitted within county parks.

South Marco Beach Access is a 70-space parking lot with restroom access and is a short walk down South Collier Boulevard to a one-acre beach access.

Sugden Regional Park has a playground, picnic areas, amphitheater, pavilions, paved exercise trail, a 60-acre lake, plus paddle boats and a swimming beach.

Caxambas Park, between two condominium complexes, has a playground and picnic area along with a boat ramp, bait, fuel, and dock. There is no beach on this site.
