Network Marketing Business Mission Statement – What’s Yours?

Well, now that you have a firm vision forward with your new business venture and solid follow-up from your most important sponsor, it’s time to make a roadmap of where you want to go.

I am a firm believer in a business plan. Without a “roadmap” of who, what and how you will get where you want to get lost will be inevitable.

Well-known fact: plan your work and then work your plan. I couldn’t tell you where I learned it, Zig Ziegler or Tony Robbins, but it’s critical to business success.

First, in network marketing you must have a mission statement. Even if you don’t advertise it, you must state in writing what your business is about and what you want to achieve. It should convey the purpose of your company. With this in place, it will always remember your address.

Key elements of a good marketing mission statement:

Please note that this is not an easy task; it will take some time to develop. It is a very important core concept of your company and needs to be given due attention. The following items are only a guide; the true mission of your company can only come from your heart. Don’t copy another network marketer’s mission statement, it may sound good, but it’s not from you. Keep it short; just a couple of paragraphs should be enough to express your passion. If it is longer, it will look more like a business plan rather than an “element” of the plan.

• What is the product or service you will provide and why will it exist? If you keep this specific to the type of service you are going to provide and the quality of the products you offer and not a specific product name, then you can offer many products or change products without rewriting your mission each time.

• Who will benefit from your services or products and how. What impact do you want to have on your customers, suppliers and employees?

• What is the vision of your company? When customers, vendors and employees join you, what will they expect and what can be expected of them.

I think you should be able to write a quality mission statement from these core elements. Of course, there are many other items that you can consider like; How is your product better than others? What makes your service the best? What do you do well? What would you like to see done better? For what actions would you like to be recognized?

I think these items are more for the stage when you’ve reached a level where you can make bold statements. I think you would agree that honesty and integrity must be passed on at all times, and whether you are a beginner or a mid-beginner, making statements that you cannot keep will only affect your early growth.

For example: I don’t know for sure, but I think Google’s mission statement from day one may not have included “organizing the world’s information” when they probably didn’t know from the beginning that it would cross the borders of a country. . But when they had that “ah-ah” moment and that vision became possible, I bet they expanded on their statement.

As a network marketer, now that you are on your way with your Mission Statement, the next step is to develop your Sales and Marketing Plan or Marketing Techniques.
