The nurses spent most of their time wandering around the ward or taking quick notes on their patients’ conditions. The Ribbon Toupee got its name from the hairstyle most used by men called a toupee. A toupee is used to cover some part of the head with the scalp already exposed and a ribbon is used to hold the toupee. Toupee tape usually comes in different sizes, pre-cuts, or colors. Both sides of the tape have adhesives that allow you to attach one side of the fabric to the other side. With this simple tool, you can now tuck your loose medical gown top into your bra strap to avoid any skin exposure or you can easily attach your ripped sleeve without breaking a sweat.

Sewing kit

This is so elementary. But the question is could that be practical? Absolutely! There are small sewing kits available at your nearest store that can easily slip into your bag. And who cares about their size, you can always store them in your locker or suffer the feeling of ripped pants and you just start your shift. If you have a sewing kit, you can temporarily fix your pants, but be sure to go online at home to shop for a new pair of scrubs. Sewing kits come in different colors and designs. It basically consists of needles, different colored threads, a pincushion, a tape measure and small scissors.

Stain Wipes

Stains are the main enemies of nurse uniforms. In fact, where nurses work contributes to a nurse’s chance of soiling. So what could be the possible solution to this? There are so many in fact. One may have an extra scrub available in their locker and can simply be changed. Second, you can carry baby wipes with you that are antibacterial and effective at temporarily removing stains. It’s not just the facial wipes you can buy at convenience stores. Cloth wipes can clean up the mess without putting much trouble like coloring and all.
