Verbal Harassment Poem – Who Are You

Are you being bullied and feeling lost and alone? Do you feel that no one can understand your pain? What can you do? Where can you go when others are being a bully? How do you handle the pain? You think if you tell someone it will only get worse, so you keep quiet and suffer alone? Suicidal thoughts enter your mind thinking that the pain will stop?

Life can be so cruel and unfair. You don’t deserve what is happening to you. It’s wrong and it’s definitely not your fault. Some people can be so stupid! I’m sorry to say it like that, but it’s true. The bullies themselves are the ones with the problems. Can’t you see that? Sometimes they feel so insecure and bad about themselves that they have to mess with someone else to try to bring them down to their level. They may think it works, but it doesn’t. Bullies need to look inside themselves and see why they are so cruel to others like you.

Please know that anything others may say does not mean it is true about you. You were created by a God who loves you exactly the way you are. It was not a mistake and there is something that needs to be done that only “you” can do. World needs you. It would be like a puzzle and if a piece was missing … it would not be complete.

Please know that you are loved. You are important. You are blessed. If at any time you feel sad or lonely, run into the arms of Jesus. He knows the pain you’re going through when he was teased and spat on. Right now things may look dark, but the sun will shine again. One day you will know why they put you on this earth and as for bullies … well … there is an old saying that my mom taught me when I was young and it was: what is given, is given! There are revenges in this world and one day they will be on the other side of the bullying. They will know the pain and they will feel lonely like you. It’s just a matter of time.

For now … keep your head up. You are a child of the Most High. You were created in the image of God, so you are perfect just the way you are. I am so glad that you were born and one day when we are both in heaven, I will give you a hug and let you know that I was praying for you now and forever. You are loved.

Who you are

When life tries to hit you and you don’t know what to do

Keep looking at Jesus and let him take care of you.

He loves you just the way you are, no matter what others say.

You are perfect in the eyes of God. He created you that way.

Don’t let others get you down. Don’t listen to their lies.

They do not know you as Jesus and with them you have no ties.

Walk away and know that you are someone that God put on earth.

You have a purpose, although it is still unknown, but God knows what you are worth.

When others try to bring you down, just smile and hear God say:

“I love you girl. I’m so proud of you.” Then turn around and walk away.

Find a place where you can be alone. Jesus awaits you.

He will wrap his arms around you tightly and give you the strength to pass.

The pain you are feeling inside right now will help you strengthen yourself.

One day he will show you what he has planned. Trust him. You still belong.

The world can be so cruel sometimes and it’s not always fair

But through these times hold on to Jesus. Promise to be there.

He will be your strength whenever you are weak. He will be by your side.

When you are sad, He will hug you and wipe away the tears you cried.

There are multiple blessings ahead of pain. Wait and see.

Jesus paid the ultimate price and through death set you free.

The next time someone says words that pierce your heart and soul,

Stop and remember who you are. So let the words go

You are loved by Jesus. Never doubt it!
