3 ways to win the heart of any job interviewer

One of the biggest problems in job interviews is the nerves that we face.

It’s not enough to have a great resume, a successful work history, and a nice suit. You have to attract employers on a personal level…because, above all else, the competition is so intense that your personality is often the only thing that can set you apart.

But you don’t need to go into an interview telling jokes and asking people to be your friend… you just need to show your attitude, your friendliness and your own charisma through the answers you give.

Here’s how you could apply this to your next interview:

1. With any questions related to the way you handle things, you must clearly demonstrate that you are not stressed or overwhelmed. When I explain this, sit in a relaxed manner and remember to smile.

2. With questions asked about yourself, such as “can you tell us what kind of person your friends would describe you?”, you can explain that you would be described as approachable, humorous, fun, and purpose-seeking. also focused on personal growth. These attributes will show you as a nice person, but not as a wild card who might cause disruptions in the workplace or be more interested in making friends than getting a promotion.

3. If you’ve had trouble tackling one of the job interview questions or feel like you can’t answer it at all, then honestly admit it. In many cases, your open honesty will actually represent more than the answer itself and help to show another likeable and trustworthy trait in your personality and professionalism.

With these simple tips, you can let your personality shine through to your employers. This is not forced or embarrassing, and it will serve two purposes… first, to build trust and professionalism in the interview, and second, to promote likeability to you from the employer’s perspective.
