Ayurveda Treatment for Infertility:

Ayurveda takes a holistic view of health and treats the body as a whole rather than an individual disease. Once you visit a good ayurveda doctor, you will be required to ask a lot of questions before diagnosing. Once the doctor is sure what ails your body, he’s ready to treat himself!

The main objective of Ayurvedic treatment for infertility is to ensure the proper transformation of food into nutrients that can be transferred to the ‘dhatu shukra’. Some of the treatments used for infertility in Ayurveda are:

suedanam

In Swedanam, the person is made to perspire to eliminate impurities through the sweat glands. This therapy is very useful for curing vata dosh and can be done by external application of heat or through a medicated steam heating chamber.

Ayurveda practitioners use this method to induce sweating in patients suffering from infertility with the help of weighted blankets or exercises. This is done to remove toxins from the body.

Vamanam

Here the stale dishes (or waste products) are dealt with via the upper GI tract. Also known as therapeutic vomiting, it helps clear Kappa, undigested food, and Pitta. Emetic nut, licorice and sweet flag are used in vamanam.

This Ayurveda therapy is somewhat uncomfortable, but ultimately the detox induces vomiting to remove undigested food from the body.

Banyan tree bark

Many Ayurvedic doctors prescribe the use of dried fig bark powder mixed with sugar to treat infertility problems.

Ashwagandha Churna And Kapikacchu

Both drugs are known to increase sperm count and also improve their quality.
