Greed and ego: enemies of success

Today I want to talk about the enemies of success in life and in our business: greed and ego. Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth or property. The ego is related to oneself and the conscious mind, but popularly it used to mean that someone is obsessed with oneself without considering others. I choose to talk about greed and ego together because, in my opinion, this is the main enemy of success in life, in business and especially in network marketing.

It is also important to know the difference between Greed and Ego and positive characteristics such as self-confidence, self-esteem, desire to succeed, motivation and competitiveness. You need to continuously monitor yourself and make sure you are trading from the positive side. Not being aware of where you are can be fatal to the success of your business and, indeed, all of your relationships.

To tell the difference, it’s good to focus on emotions that are both positive and negative. Greed and ego disappear as soon as you start trading with positive emotions.

Positive emotions are: Desire – Faith – Love – Sex – Enthusiasm – Romance – Hope – Prosperity

Negative emotions are: Fear – Jealousy – Hate – Revenge – Greed – Superstition – Anger – Lack

The ego cannot exist in a state of positive emotions. When you think positive, you think of others and you think ‘What’s in it for them’. You say, “How can I help you?” and the focus ends on other people and not on yourself. This is the key, it should always be about others and never about oneself. If you are thinking about how you can help people, you will be ready to listen and the person will know that they are being listened to.

The most successful people in life are those who seek to help as many people as possible! People are naturally attracted to them and they have a huge following. So focus on that question every time you meet someone today! Say to yourself ‘How can I help this person?’ Make it your goal to help her have positive emotions by encouraging her. There is always something positive you can say! Always be thinking of reaching more and more people with the motivation to help them.

So control your thoughts, control your emotions, control your words. Drive the Greed and Ego enemies away from your door! Remember that they will kill and destroy your relationships! So focus on cultivating the positive in your life! After all, life is amazing!
