Lacrosse players who are just as tough as they are need custom lacrosse uniforms. The uniform highlights the team and what they stand for. Before designing a uniform, you should know the official rules. Customize your team’s shorts and kit with logos, colors, numbers, and player names for added attention.

High School Lacrosse Uniform Rules:

• Boys’ Lacrosse Uniforms: Boys’ high school uniforms consist of shirts, shoes and cleats, mouth guard, socks, gloves, shoulder pads, eye protection, and helmet.
• Numbers and Colors: High school jersey colors must be a single color. The colors of the visiting and home teams must contrast. Otherwise, the responsibility for the adjustment will be with the visiting team. Numbers on the jersey must be 8 inches tall on the front and 12 inches tall on the back. Sweatpants and undergarments must be a solid color and all team members must have similar colors.
• Women’s Lacrosse Uniforms: Women’s high school uniforms and equipment consist of shorts/kilt, socks, shirt, cleats, gloves, soft headgear, shoulder pads, and mouth guard.
• Numbers and Colors: The colors of the visiting school and home high school will be at the discretion of the coaches. The number on the jersey must be 6 inches high center front and 8 inches high center back. Numbers on the kilt or shorts are optional, but must match the number on the jersey. All team members must wear undergarments of the same color as white or the same color of the uniform as black.

Varsity Lacrosse Uniform Rules:

• Men’s Lacrosse Uniforms: Men’s college lacrosse uniforms consist of shorts, jersey, shoulder pads, gloves, shoes, arm pads, mouthpiece, face mask, and helmet. Goalkeepers require chest and throat protectors, but not shoulder and arm pads.
• Colors and numbers: No solid color required. The jersey number must be centered on the front 10 inches high and 12 inches high on the back. Sweatpants and compression shorts must be grey, solid white or team color.
• Women’s Lacrosse Uniforms: Women’s college lacrosse uniforms and equipment consist of shorts/skirts, socks, shirts, shoes and cleats, gloves, eye protection, soft headgear, and nose guards. The goalkeeper’s kit and uniform consists of a throat protector, mouthpiece, padded gloves, mask with helmet and bib. Padding on the shoulders, arms, and legs is recommended, but the thickness should not exceed 1 inch.
• Colors and numbers: The team members’ uniforms must be identical, but the goalkeeper is supposed to wear the same colors. The colors of the competing teams must contrast. Otherwise, the adjustment will be made by the local team. The front and back of the jersey must be numbered 8 inches high on the back and 6 inches high centered on the front. Undergarments must be a solid color.
