One can have quite a relaxed vacation when crossing over to the sister island of Mata. Gozo is mainly covered by a rural setting coupled with a very laid back village life. The people are welcoming and very hospitable. Gozo’s environment is clean and well maintained and an experience of bliss is certainly attainable during your stay. Gozo is considered to be the “old” Malta, as it is much less developed than Malta and still practices old traditions. Gozo is definitely a place you should spend time on during your stay in Malta.

A little island of your own to explore

Due to the fact that Malta is a fairly small island where local services are quite close, you will be able to visit most of the tourist attractions without any problems. There is no need to wait to return home, as the accommodation is not that far away. Another good reason is that accommodation and air travel are very reasonable compared to any other destination in Europe.
