Sanur Beach Hotel – Bali’s Coziest Hotel

In the two decades since welcoming its first guest, the Sanur Beach Hotel has grown and become more refined in the facilities and services it offers its guests. However, the hotel (apart from the Aerowisata Group) retains its reputation as one of the friendliest resorts in Bali.

Hotel Sanur Beach is just fifteen minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and right in the middle of all Sanur attractions. Accommodation is in 425 air-conditioned units ranging from Superior, Deluxe and Studio rooms to Junior, Presidential and Sanur Beach Suites. Each unit has a balcony, telephone, refrigerator, in-house video programming, and several satellite television channels, including CNN, ABN, and HBO.

The Garuda Bungalow features classic Balinese décor with the living room on an open terrace overlooking a private pool and gardens. It also offers the attention of a private staff to attend to the wishes and special needs of guests.

Within the tourist complex there are two swimming pools, a children’s playground and a health center offering sauna and massages. There are also facilities for tennis, mini golf, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, jogging. Our rigger boat can be rented by the hour. Snorkeling, sport fishing and diving are other possible leisure activities.

Bicycles are available for guest use. In fact, the resort organizes daily bike tours that allow early risers to experience everyday life in nearby Balinese villages. Tour groups leave at dawn and return two hours later at breakfast time.

Thai dishes and French selections are among the specialties available to patrons at the resort’s East West Restaurant, which offers diners the option of dining alfresco on the terrace or sitting indoors where there is air conditioning.

The Tirta poolside bar, restaurant and pizzeria serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, along with a wide variety of drinks. Near the beach is Warung Seahorse, open nightly for grilled seafood and more. Beverages and light snacks are also available at the Perahu Bar and Lounge, where live musical entertainment is provided every night. Cultural performances of Balinese dance, music and theater are staged on the resort’s open-air stage, along with a sumptuous buffet highlighting Indonesian specialties.

For corporate groups wishing to mix business with pleasure, the resort has conference facilities that are more than adequate. Gatherings for 400 people can be accommodated in the thatched-roof Wantilan. The Garuda room can comfortably handle smaller groups of 120 people, while the Jauk room is suitable for up to 40 people.

A shopping arcade includes a business center, newsstand, pharmacy, photo shop, beauty salon, tour and travel desk, and numerous gift boutiques where local handicrafts are available. A Garuda Indonesia ticket office is located just off the main lobby. Sanur Beach Hotel’s airport representatives meet all flights and arrange transfers for guests in the hotel’s own fleet of vehicles.
