WOTLK Gold Farming Secrets – Make Gold Fast On WOLTK

The latest expansion for World of Warcraft WOTLK (Wrath of the Lich King) offers many new opportunities to make a lot of gold. A quick note if you’re a profession person, you need to be level 350 in your professions to extract/disenchant/gather herbs/skin etc. in the starting zones of Northrend.

Like the previous ways to earn in-game currency, they still apply in Northrend on a larger scale.

If you haven’t noticed yet, things cost a lot more in-game. From cloth to armor, it seems like the price of everything has gone up drastically, this is due to the fact that more gold is made in WOTLK more quickly and easily.

Gold Farming in WOLTK consists of the three basic ways to generate gold.

1. Play the auction house

2. Farm by killing Mobs (this includes some professions like skinning, cooking, enchant to disenchant).

3. Farm your gathering professions (such as mining and herbalism).

I really hate ONLY mining or herb gathering, so I highly recommend herbalism or mining along with skinning as a profession (and definitely cooking as a secondary).

This way, when you kill animals, you can skin them for leather, which always sells well in AH and those animals can drop meat for cooking, which also has a daily quest for easy money, and the cooking buffs are worth the sorrow. It does not matter that.

This way, when you’re looking to level up in Northrend or you’re 80 and just farming gold, you’ll be making the most of your time.
