Buy discounts on supermarket food?

One thing that has always puzzled me is how supermarkets decide to lower the cost of items. I think most people would agree that if there was a magical answer to this question, we would all rush at the same time to get the best deal.

Supermarket companies are aware of this. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is no set time or formula. However, there are certain factors that can help you make a more informed decision when choosing to buy. Most supermarkets today have complex supply chain systems. These systems will automatically monitor

– Stock levels (The system indicates that it is necessary to order new items)
– When will items become obsolete? (This will mean new items will need to be ordered and the price of the existing item will need to be revised.)
– How are the items sold? (This will affect what price the item sells for)

To operate this system, the supermarket will need to do some planning. This will involve deciding how much stock they need to order and how much they want to sell. As a result, there are likely to be fewer storage errors and therefore fewer discounts. They are usually stores without competitors within a radius of a few kilometers.

Cluster supermarkets are where you are likely to find the best opportunity. Once you’ve identified a group, try to visit each store individually an hour or two before closing time (you can spot poor planners as they’ll have a number of items marked down to sell before the next day). You will soon be able to discover which stores are planning correctly from the number of discounted items available. In short, reduced items can be found as a result of poor planning and mistakes on the part of the supermarket. As consumers, we need to identify which stores will have difficulty planning by looking at where the store is located.

This isn’t rocket science, but I think you’ll find that it makes a lot of sense.
