With over 500 lodging properties to choose from, Breckenridge, Colorado is home to a wide selection of resorts, condominiums, townhomes, private homes, and bed & breakfasts. As a result of all these options, choosing the ideal property for your next Breckenridge vacation can seem like a daunting task. Several options should be weighed when selecting your lodging, such as property type, amenities, cost, and location.

Many visitors find location to be the most compelling component when choosing an accommodation property for their ski vacation. Breckenridge lodgings exist in a variety of neighborhoods, including the Historic District, Four Seasons, Four O’clock, Peaks 8 & 9, and several other outlying areas. With a deeper understanding of these neighborhoods, the amenities they offer, and their proximity to the city and the ski area, selecting the ideal property for your Breckenridge vacation needs should be a much easier experience.

Peaks 8 and 9 are also home to some of the city’s most luxurious vacation homes, tucked away in the trees by the ski slopes.

Finally, many of Breckenridge’s private homes for rent are outside the city limits in neighborhoods like Blue River. Just a short distance from the ski area, visitors will find quaint ski lodges and sprawling vacation homes tucked away in towering forests of spruce and lodgepole pine. Although not served by public transportation in the city, these neighborhoods offer some of the most convenient housing options in Breckenridge, with plenty of space for visitors to spread out.
