Baskin -Robbins twisted surf-themed iced treats to prepare ice cream lovers for summer. Baskin-Robbins is creating a frenzy of excitement this summer with their new tubular flavors inspired by Surf’s Up, Penguin Swirl and Splish Splash (TM). Ice cream lovers will go crazy for the unique colors of the flavors, as the black ice cream and blue sherbet turn penguin’s tongues black and ocean blue on the first lick. Additionally, consumers can refresh themselves with one of Baskin-Robbins’ refreshing new Fruit Blast Shakes, a combination of real fruit and nonfat frozen yogurt, available in a variety of new and exotic fruit flavors such as Berry, Pomegranate, Banana.

This summer, Baskin-Robbins invites uncles and friends to dive into the summer with some irresistible frozen treats. Baskin-Robbins Surf’s Up Ice Cream and Frozen Treats are available at participating stores nationwide from now until August 19, 2007, while supplies last.

Coast to coast cruise

Baskin-Robbins will travel to cities across the country this summer with the Surf’s Up mobile tour. The mobile vehicle, designed with colorful images of the Surf’s Up characters, Cody, Lani and Chicken Joe, will provide consumers with the opportunity to sample the Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors, play Ubisoft’s new Surf’s Up video game, and get treats and deals. . The mobile tour will hit the road on June 1, 2007, beginning in Los Angeles and New York and making stops in 31 cities including San Diego, Sacramento, California, San Francisco, Baltimore, Washington, Chicago, Houston and Dallas. The east coast tour will conclude in Dallas on July 16, 2007 and the west coast tour will conclude in Fresno, California. on July 31, 2007.

Surf’s Up is an animated action comedy that takes you behind the scenes in the exciting world of competitive surfing. The film features teenage Rockhopper penguin Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf), a promising surfer, as he takes part in his first professional competition.
