The latest Windows drive: How to use Spotmau PowerSuite 2010 to repair your Windows

We are all familiar with this problem: we turn on our Windows PC and instead of the familiar start screen, we see nothing but a black screen with some kind of cryptic error message. Most of the PC users feel quite powerless in such a situation and don’t know what to do. The following way will give you some useful tips on how to recover Windows PC that won’t boot properly.

First of all, you need to check that the PC is actually connected properly, has power, and that all the basic hardware is working properly. The hard drive should be speeding up and the LED lamps should be on.

Also, you should get an image on your monitor screen. If that is not the case, you should check that the monitor cable is properly connected to the graphics card port and to the monitor itself. Once you’ve done that, the next thing to worry about is if you get to the BIOS screen. If it doesn’t, you most likely have some kind of hardware issue, for example a RAM issue or a motherboard bug. If you can see the BIOS screen, you need to press Del or some function key, for example F8 or F10, to enter the BIOS and reset it to default settings. If you recently installed hardware or changed settings in the BIOS, it is better to revert them to the original condition. Next, if you are sure that the BIOS settings are correct, you should be careful about the error message that Windows is producing and when you start up.

At this stage, depending on what the error message actually is, you have a few options.
