Tilting TV wall mount designed specifically for the Sharp LC-65D64U

Finally, a TV wall mount has been designed specifically with Sharp’s 65″ HDTV in mind. The VESA pattern for the Sharp LC-65D64U is 440mm wide x 650mm high. VESA spacing from distance The vertical clearance of the arms is much larger than most mounts that are available on the market today. The designers took into consideration the vertical space between the arms, as well as the fact that M10 screws are required to attach them to the back of the TV This tilt wall mount has a 28″ wide wall plate that can be mounted to wood studs on 16″ or 24″ centers. Once assembled, it can support up to 300 pounds. It can also be mounted to concrete, but the minimum thickness required is 6″. Concrete anchors for this can be purchased at your local hardware store.

The vertical arm can be slid laterally on the wall plate to center it if necessary. When the TV is placed on the wall mount plate, it can be placed flat or tilted down up to 12 degrees simply by losing a knob. When installing a large TV of this size, it is always a good idea to have two people to support the TV when placing it on the wall plate. Once you have positioned the TV on the horizontal rails that support the vertical arm, secure it by tightening the two locking screws located at the bottom of the arms. This will prevent the TV from accidentally being lifted off the rails and onto the floor. When parked in the flat position, the back of the TV will be 4.75 inches from the wall.
