Grow Your Business Online With This Proven Content Marketing Strategy

General description

The Internet is a network of interconnected information (content) nodes. The more densely interconnected information becomes (the density factor), the more useful and valuable it is.

Data + Interpretation = “Meaningful” Information

I will not repeat myself unduly; however, the content, or information, is what people are looking for online.

To be fair, what people are really looking for is an answer to some question, and they usually phrase their search in terms they think of.

Keyword supply and demand is the cornerstone of content provision and, armed with an understanding of search terms and modalities of user presentation (how a person perceives the world), you can start providing answers. to your questions in the form. of articles, white papers, blog posts, forum inserts, etc.

Writing is an art, and while most people think writing is easy, they’d be wrong in that assumption: Bad writing is easy, good (or great) writing is hard work.

And writing to balance the needs of a human being with the needs of a computer is certainly a nifty dance.

But there is some relief, since the dawn of the Internet, search engines have aimed for purity of search. In other words, the engines try to understand the true meaning of your question so that they can return the best possible answer.

This means that as long as you truly write to meet people’s needs (and keep an eye on engine requirements), you’ll certainly be rewarded for your efforts.

Writing content to be found by the engines is great, however the real reason for this publishing process is the embedded links that take you to your curated sites. As you post and share your content, those who pick up your work and republish it will also republish your links to the selected websites.

Article marketing (because this is essentially what it is) is incredibly powerful and results in a strong and wide network of connections and links to your sites.

Of course, you need to provide content that people want to read and share…

The Strategic Elements:

firms

If you’ve been following the idea behind this strategy, you’ll notice that I’m referring to embedded links. This is the gist of your signature (or signature) file.

When you write an article or post on a blog or forum, you are allowed to include your signature[nature]. Every environment is different, but as a general rule of thumb you can include at least one link back to your site and you can connect with a couple of lines of promotional copy – just don’t go overboard!

Read the rules of each environment (blog, forum, newsgroup, etc.) and don’t rush it. The hyperspace denizens are ruthless and have a very negative view of people who abuse the posting rules when it only takes a little time to read them.

Items

Articles are key pieces of information within the world of online and Internet marketing. Each article should be at least 250-300 words in length and really not to exceed 1200 (750 to 1000) is considered on the high side.

The ‘sweet spot’ is about 500 words.

Articles must provide the answer to some question.

“How To” articles are particularly popular, as are reviews and opinion pieces.

Writing any article or piece of content needs to be carefully considered because the writer needs to understand marketing (remember that’s why we’re doing all this!) and they need to understand public relations and other legal and publishing issues, like libel laws. , etc.

Once an article has been syndicated, as long as it meets the needs of readers and publishers in hyperspace, it will start running.

PLEASE NOTE: Once your article is available for others to post, you will NOT be able to remember it or change what you have said.

This distributed nature is what protects your work and also gives you more exposure; it also means that you have to be very careful what you say “out there”.

blog

Blogs are amazing ‘creatures’. They are currently one of the most powerful website formats on the internet today.

“Loved” by search engines for its ease of indexing, its frequency of content change, and its focus (remember that blogs are usually located in one area and discuss the topic at some length!)

Publishing your own blog is a surefire way to boost your rankings, however it’s not something you can dabble in; You need to commit to creating content on a regular basis.

The same rules I discussed with articles apply here as well: keep posts short for the most part, but occasionally add an article between 250 and 750 words.

Try to post something at least every other day; Ideally, you should post at least twice a week (daily if you can muster it).

As I said, publishing is a great way to increase your capital online; however, you should not overlook participating in other people’s blogs. Remember that a blog by definition is something that resembles a conversation with comments.

Look for reciprocal blogs, blogs that seem to share the same idea and tonality as your own point of view. Alternatively, go the other way: look for the opposite and see what you find.

You will no doubt be able to find many blogs, all craving updates and more content, so give it to them. Your payment will be a link back to your chosen website (use your signature if you can).

If you want to find blogs, use Google’s blog search or visit Blogger.com and use their blog search feature.

forum posts

Don’t ignore forum posts, they are similar to blogs.

Spend some time reading through the posts (yes, it takes a small investment of time) and then, when you’re familiar with the forum, start sharing tips and answering questions. This is a medium to long term strategy and requires patience and commitment.

Your signature file is your payment for the effort, as you will be allowed to include it in your posts. Remember, each signature post contains a link to your site – more links mean more relevance with search engines.

union hubs

There are many article directories on the net, many are small and serve specialized markets.

Arguably one of the best directory resources on the net today is EzineArticles.com

I am *strongly* in favor of this directory because of its strict quality controls and the fact that articles and content placed here end up ranking very high on major search engines.
