Halloween costume ideas for teens

Selecting a Halloween costume is a personal choice. Age and gender are some of the main factors that will determine what type of Halloween costume is best. Different teens like different things, so I’ve created a short list of popular Halloween costumes.

Skeleton

Now here’s a teen classic. Both younger and older teens like the skeleton costume because it’s scary and fun. A typical skeleton costume includes an all-black jumpsuit with skeleton bones painted on. An evil looking skeleton mask will complete the outfit. If you want to make a more realistic costume, you can find fake bones and attach them to the costume.

zombie

It seems that zombies have reached the highest level of popularity in recent years. So if you choose a zombie costume, you will definitely be in style. Making a zombie costume is quite easy and you can choose many different types of zombie costumes: zombie doctor, zombie road worker, zombie hunter, zombie teacher, the list is endless. All you need are normal clothes that you won’t wear again because you need them to look dirty and ragged.

Ghost

Nowadays, simply wearing a white sheet over your body isn’t good enough in the ghost department. Instead, you will have to be a little more creative.

A good question to ask yourself is: What kind of person was your ghost before it died? This will help bring some variety to this often overdone costume. Were they a painter, a leader, a soldier? Even better, you can combine two types of creepy costumes. For example, you can be the ghost of a scary clown or the restless spirit of a machete-wielding maniac. There are many possibilities.

The key to turning these characters into ghosts will largely depend on your clothes and makeup. Go with a ghostly pale appearance. If you find your outfit too bright and lively, you might consider getting a pre-made costume of the particular ghost you’re trying to impersonate.

Vampire

Nothing scares some people more than the prospect of having to watch Twilight. Trigger these deep-seated fears of chick flicks based on teen vampire novels by dressing as Edward Cullen. All you have to do is make your face look a little too pale and have the same wistful look on your face all the time.

werewolf

The most important thing here is the helmet. Create a werewolf mask or headdress using a fur-like material. Give him fierce teeth and sharp eyes. The werewolf gloves are designed with claws at the tips. Werewolf wears a plaid shirt that is torn at the ends and ripped pants as well.

mummy

Strips of white fabric will be ideal to complete this costume. Dress in white and then wrap your head with a white scarf. Cover the rest of the body with white strips of cloth that look like bandages. It is not necessary to carefully or neatly wrap the body in the strips of cloth, but it can be done carelessly. Ladies may wear a white dress and then cover the body, including the legs and arms, with strips of white linen or cotton clothing.

In addition, you can also spray them with some fake blood. The important thing about the zombie costume is your skin, which should look grayish. You should also pay attention to the mouth and use some fake blood around it.

witch

Witches are believed to come in different forms, but the most famous is the dark witch. For this costume she wears a dress that comes in dark colors (black is best). The outfit should not be tight and elegant.

The other important element is the hat that must be pointed. It’s a good idea to add some webbing around it. If you don’t have long black hair, wear a wig. Finally, don’t forget the broom, which is one of the most important accessories when it comes to witches.

grim reaper

The term Grim Reaper for this depiction of death was first used in the mid-19th century. Halloween is a holiday where people often wear scary costumes and we can agree that there are only a small number of things scarier than death itself.
