Natural Hair Styles For Women

Bad hair days are literally unavoidable for most women, especially those who have baby-thin, fine locks. This type of hair requires the utmost care to maintain it. It becomes inert and lifeless under the scorching summer heat and becomes frizzy in the winter season. Here are some helpful tips on how to tame those fine braids.

After a relaxing shower, blow dry your hair. Remove the attached nozzle to avoid straight hair. Turn the blower on to medium heat and use a vent brush to lift the roots. When the hair is dry, clean it with fresh air. Then you can put on pretty hair accessories, like a headband or a cute hair clip.

Not having enough volume is one of the main problems with having fine hair. Fortunately, there are ways to add some volume to your hair. Use an iron with round edges; Take one inch of horizontal sections of hair and pin it at the roots. Then slowly rotate the iron away from the roots and hold it down for at least 15 seconds. After finishing a coat, use a non-slip hair clip to secure it in place. Do the same step while working underneath.

A volumizing shampoo and light conditioner are recommended for sleek, shiny hair. Use a root lifting spray on damp hair and blow dry with the help of a paddle brush.

The summer days may be over, but you can still keep that sexy, tousled beach-look hair every day. Use a curling iron to curl your hair. Wrap small sections of hair around the iron without closing the clamp and hold for 10-15 seconds then unwrap. Gently comb the curls to help loosen them with your fingers. Top it off with a nice sparkly headband for a freer look.

Having your hair in a bun will give you a more sophisticated look. You can do this by combing the crown of your head for additional volume. Create a deep side parting and pull your hair into a low ponytail. Twist it gently to make a smooth bun. Use bobby pins and hairspray to secure it in place.
