Why nurturing a child’s education is important

More than 2.05 million students are now learning at home rather than in a classroom. The reason is a shocking 73% who say they are homeschooling because they are dissatisfied with the way public schools are run.

Most parents don’t think twice when August rolls around and it’s time for the kids to go back to school. Many parents work during the day and have to pay for a babysitter during the work week. I’ve even seen it so bad that a single woman was completely broke after paying her minimal bills, babysitter, and gas. That would definitely be the downside of your children attending public school. Another downside would be that you have to worry about harassment. Watching the news every day, you will see elementary school students shooting at schools and things like that are pretty scary. The biggest advantage when it comes to having your child in a public school is the fact that a teacher, who spent many hours at school learning how to teach children of that age, spent the whole day with your little angels.

Well, what kind of profession will my son pursue if he stays home to attend school? Will it make them fat and lazy and then I’ll be stuck with a TV addict? Statistics say that 17.3% of men become accountants or engineers. Surprisingly, 169% become a teacher, doctor or lawyer. Yet according to the natural assessment of children’s education, only 13% of public school students have mastered American history. That’s weird, isn’t that where we live?

If you get home early from work and normally take a nap before you get the kids off the bus, you can kiss that nap goodbye. If you work at home, like I do, and take the kids to the bus stop and then come home and take a nap, you can say goodbye to those naps. One of my favorite benefits of homeschooling is the fact that you no longer have to rush in the early morning. Do you remember these?

“Come on guys, you’re going to be late. Get up!”

“Your breakfast is getting cold.”

What do you mean, you can’t find half of your books? Where did you last have them? “

“You have a test today, and you went out this weekend to have fun, but didn’t you study?”

“You are punished”

“You are punished”

“Why didn’t you put your clothes that you wanted to wash in the washing machine this weekend until you wait until Monday morning?”

Now, they can go to a quiet room in their pajamas and do their schoolwork.

Have you ever had a student come home and tell you that their teacher wants to find them? That they are giving them bad grades for no reason? Well guess what, being the learning coach you want your child to do the best they have ever done, so you are not going to allow that to happen.

Honestly, in my opinion, homeschooling and virtual schools are the newest things to be imposed. Very soon, there won’t be many public schools left, except for those parents whose children are too young to stay home. You also learn.

I don’t know about you, but the older I get, the more I feel like I’m getting dumber. When I started helping my 3rd and 5th grade son, I was amazed at how much I had forgotten. This makes me feel better, and when the children tell me about what they learned in school that day, instead of pretending I understand them, I can talk to them and we have time to learn as a family.

The last thing I wanted to mention is about projects. How many times has your child brought home a piece of cardboard and said, I have to do a project? “Well, what kind?” You ask them. They look at you with that blank look on their face like you know this, and they say … “I don’t know.” Well, if you read a day or two ahead of time in their lesson books, you will know what they are going to do, so there will be no confusion. Homeschooling and virtual school is definitely the way to go.

I recently came across some truly amazing facts that you would never guess if you didn’t see the proof in front of you. Did you know that homeschoolers are affected by external factors?
